This beautiful wood is 100 years old and is reclaimed from the flooring of old boxcars. They are then cut in half skip sanded and run through a molder. Cargo flooring we are now milling our popular cargo planks into beautiful flooring planks.
I sell it to architects builders furniture makers restaurants and bars etc. These oak planks are tongue and groove construction and still wear the original varnish top coat. These oak or maple planks were used as the original flooring in railroad boxcars and were removed when the railroad car was decommissioned. The boards are glued up butcher block style.
