Broken Lamp On Floor

Repurpose some dishes and old lamps into a fountain.
Broken lamp on floor. A bad socket or a bad cord. Rescue a broken floor lamp by replacing the socket and cord. Paint a base to turn it into shelf decor. Gently lean the lamp downward and rest the top of the floor lamp the area near the bulb down on the pillow.

Take the wiring out of old lamps and turn them into candlesticks. Since both of these issues involve taking apart the lamp it is wise to replace both items.
Make a tiered stand from a thrift store lamp and trays. If you have a lamp with a loose socket that causes the lamp to flicker to be difficult to turn on or to just flat out refuse to light you can replace the socket and give the lamp a new life. Use some chicken wire to turn an old floor lamp into a dress form. Disposing of a broken lamp isn t always as simple as putting the pieces in the garbage bin.
Set a pillow on the floor. When a floor lamp stops working there are usually two causes for the problem. Broken glass and lamp pieces can injure children or pets.
